Neither source has made any contribution to the debate as to what IP exists on brilacidin, and the strength or otherwise of that IP.

In any event, it won't be difficult for another deep learning program to circumvent any existing IP, if that turns out to be a useful thing to do.

And it might, if only to ameliorate the rather concerning incidence of Adverse Events associated with iv brilacidin, which run at >70% in the two more recent trials we know about.
