I am not saying that I am optimistic but if Amarin (or whoever else stands to benefit) thought that the results would be a homerun and if they could properly read the current environment (vaccines good, every therapeutic bad), they would tell everyone (especially Dr. Corral) to STFU and remove any hints of success (such as enrollment of P-3) before official data release and peer review to avoid any scrutiny, which is 100% inevitable.

If you guys thought that we were unfairly scrutinized after REDUCE-IT, just wait until positive P-2 results. Pfizer's multi billion dollar lobby will have a field day.

TTE, thank you. Please correct my thinking if off base. If there are 100 events in the study (about 5% of the 2000 total events), then we would have to see about 33% improvement in the Vascepa arm compared to the placebo arm to squeak by with a p value just hitting the 0.05 stat sig level? So like 60 events on the placebo arm and 40 events on the V arm? TIA
