Please, can anyone explain the practical significance of this Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD)?
My guess is carrying hydrogen in natural gas pipelines and possibly having the ability to correct for seasonal and daily temperature variations at sending and receiving ends???
One of the Symposium presenters was doing chemical research on hydrogen in natural gas pipelines --normally he did not see a problem, meaning hydrogen was not absorbed destructively into the pipeline. But, perhaps it's a temperature sensitive issue (he did not say)???
