As I suggested to Flip on his/her post regarding his assertion for the reason for this quiet period: besides the obvious (unblinding, data analyses, and preparation of data for presentation/publication), there may be other reason (actually maybe the underlining reason), including rolling BLA, partnership/buyout negotiation, etc)
Covered by this giant quiet period, anything could happen! As the academic has been well prepared, it's time to go public!
