Justfrank, we disagree....
These are the facts.....
1. Globetel is under SEC investigation (no big deal, many companies come under investigation at some time or another).
2. Globetel has already come up with a PR stating that in part, the SEC is scrutinizing (sp?) GTE's accounting practices.
3. Who reveiwed those documents? Dohan & Co.
4. GTE has now come out with a statement that basically says Dohan never notified GTE that there was anything wrong with the books (at least that's the way I'm reading it).
5. I'm sure that Dohan knows what the investigation is centering on, if it has anything to do with the accounting practises. But they cannot make a public statement regarding that until the investigation is finished, besides answering GTE that they don't know if they agree with the 8K staement or not.
6. Now GTE has dumped Dohan (their long time accounting firm) in favor of a different firm.
All these taken together give me the opinon that this 8K is something more than a non-event.
Like I said....my opinion. Obviously, no one will know the whole story until the investigation is done and becomes public.
