BOIL Update - October NatGas options expired today. October NatGas futures expire tomorrow. Rollover into November contracts today is experiencing contango. Likely more of the same tomorrow. I would not be surprised to see a pause/pullback this week, followed by a rise again to the end of October with the futures contracts rollover from Nov to Dec.

What Is Contango?
Contango is a situation where the futures price of a commodity is higher than the spot price. Contango usually occurs when an asset price is expected to rise over time. That results in an upward sloping forward curve.
