Well some payor’s are certainly resisting the widespread adoption of Vascepa … primarily because of cost

As far as I know the VA doesn’t dispense Vascepa . They had a VA rep at an ICER hearing and his objection wasn’t efficacy it was cost to the VA

Kaiser I think is only dispensing to secondary prevention CAD patients with a heavy emphasis on optimal statin therapy first

Do U know anything re the VA’s position on Vascepa ?
