He didn’t want his accurate forecasts of future strategic decisions plastered all over the Internet for free and needs competent people to see through the new processes. He also has foreign coordination experience, interpersonal and diplomatic skills, was prolly a Captain in the Navy which could be a plus.
And he needed the additional 150m shares to bring him on board. Laugh if you want, he wouldn’t find a more loyal committed employee on Linked In. Maybe he got a 50,000 share signing bonus?
In any case posting here as an employee would be unlikely.
