No, it doesn't make sense on ANY level.

If KBLB doesn't have enough spider silk for samples, then they don't have anything.

This was the most bizarre PR. Kim would have been better off saying the mill he is using is back open for business and leaving it at that.

this part is mostly testing the mill's capability...their ability to get the design right, the right weave and the right blend...

the kings group will likely make a few different requests to see if the mill can adapt and do different weaves and such and still make a fabric that the kings want...they want to know that the mill can handle different specs and needs...

THEN they will test with ds...the idea that they will never test with ds is ludicrous...

yes...it absolutely does...he experiments with the conventional oil FIRST...then he experiments with the synthetic oil....he can then compare the two...

isnt that how experiments are conducted?...isnt that how testing is conducted?...

the insinuation is that no testing of the the fabric using ds will ever be conducted...

and that is LUDICROUS...

the kings will extensively test the fabric using ordinary silk and then just start selling fabric with ds silk without ever testing it?...

Is there a chance we don't have all of the information necessary to see the full picture? There is undoubtedly a method to the madness. They aren't going through this without the knowledge that it does not include spider silk. They are aware. This could very well be some trial runs on different blends and what results from the ratios so Kings can get a sense for what the different ratios will result in and place their order accordingly.

It's your opinion that it doesn't make sense, based on how you interpret the data.
