Freaking logical if you think about it. The traditional silk is the cheaper stand in.


It's also supposed to be the basic, mundane product that is nothing like Spydasilk. Spydasilk is supposed to be so different, it's going to change the world. So how are you supposed to get the blend right when you're not even working with the silk you're trying to get the right blend for?!?

I created the first synthetic motor oil. My partner company who is going to brand and market it needs some samples for testing on car engines. Instead of giving him my synthetic oil, I give him a batch of conventional motor oil (that I bought off of the shelf, not created myself). He experiments with the convention oil instead of my synthetic oil so he can figure out how to sell my synthetic oil. Does that make sense?
