What about TSMC and Samsung? They surely have silicon photonics capabilities. I'm a bit confused why people don't tend to bring them up on here when they would be the biggest catch of all.

Yes Pro, you are right about that. I believe LWLG will be the best investment in the silicon photonics space going forward, but I do own some MTSI and RKLY also.

MTSI, short term dealing with industry wide supply problems, but mid and longer term have many exciting projects under way.

They are also moving into the automotive/LIDAR space and will be TS certified by the end of year and are working with many Tier One OEMS.

Richard has well documented their interest in our goo.

One thing that I thought was interesting, and this is public information and was on their last conference call dated July 29, 2021, was when the CEO Stephen Daly said and I quote (again public information) "we are developing LIDAR applications, a combination of lightwave and optoelectrical high data rate chips"

He said lightwave not lightwave logic, but

On the previous call he said they have not disclosed who they are working with and who their suppliers are in the silicon photonics area. I believe LWLG will have a relationship with MTSI, along with numerous other companies, that's the beauty of the LWLG business model.

Remember too, LIDAR is a few years down the road, and we have bigger fish to fry first, but I thought that statement by the CEO was kinda interesting and we are probably working with them on other projects too. We shall see, just my two cents.

Stay healthy.
