I see those ETFs are now using macho terms like "Geared" and "Tactical."
Like those flashlights they advertise on late-night TV? They're "tactical", as are many other things nowadays. I honestly don't even know what it's supposed to mean, though it does seem they're intended to be used by Real Men.
It's a ridiculous usage for flashlights and similar products, and an unimaginable one for ETFs.
The 2X and 3X leveraged ETFs are a terrifically bad idea. Especially the "bear" funds. They're really noting more than online gambling with rather poor odds.
