Thanks Lemm for your input and knowledge. I know that some of the vaccines like J&J and possibly the AZN vaccine had some history of clots, but I believe they were mostly in those under 50.

Still for you to come across 2 people in such a short time gives pause.

My wife and I are both over 65 and she has COPD. So she is at higher risk of complications and poorer outcomes if she contracted the virus. I could probably go without but I need to be good as she does depend on me to some degree. The virus has already killed 1 out of every 500 Americans.

The ADCOM panel were 100% correct. As I have been saying all along, this is not a one size fits all model.

I've been seeing the dumbest argument ever: 'COVID killed 1 out of every 500 Americans'.

Low IQ people may fall for it.

Why on earth would we lump all people together?

If something kills 100% of old people and 0% of young people, a low IQ person would conclude that it kills 50% of all people.

Here is a screenshot of a slide from today's ADCOM - chance of a healthy 30 year old female dying from COVID is .0004% or 1 in 250,000 (not a typo). This is why today's vote was 16-2 against boosters for everyone 16+.

For older & immuno-compromised, it's a different story. Again, not a one size fits all, as many here said. 'Shut up and get the vaxx' won't cut it anymore.

Lemmiwinks, Very good insight. One factor not being discussed is that
people with high Vitamin D levels avoid the worst effects of Covid. I
take around 5000 IUs almost daily. Sadly, our government does not care
to get this across to the public. Vitamin D is cheap, safe, and many
elderly people and people of color are deficient. Vascepa in time should
prove useful in resolving at least some of the inflammation caused by
the virus (and perhaps even the vaccine itself in some people.) This
is why an acquisition by Pfizer could have a dual benefit for them. Get
Dr. Gottlieb on CNBC talking up how those at risk for CVD should be on
Vascepa (anyway) and it could also be beneficial against Covid, and
Pfizer would have a real winner. Of course, Gottlieb would never utter
those words unless his Pfizer masters allow him to. I have never heard
him talk about Vascepa or Amarin. This is why Vascepa is dead without
active BP support.
