Perhaps we're unclear on a nuanced definition here?

"I'm not against religion. Like I said, it saved my sister in a time when her life was spiraling down the toilet.

I view religion as a ritualistic daily conveyance to "God" (take your pick) that he's in control of one's life, destiny etc, and to offer up at least gratitude for every breath while offering words audible or not, of praise, gratuity and supplication to his will, with the request of unending favours in return, to a more or less extent.

I assume this is what you're attributing to your sister's experience.

I don't have a problem with that either, per se (you still out here Koog?=). If it helps them to feel better, then that's fantastic. It's when the "sharing" starts, problems occur. If it's so great, keep it to yourself, is the lament. No different than sharing a box of gold. Seems only fool's gold is freely shared. .

Some view religion as merely repetition, which seems nihilistic to me although in it's simplicity, quite true.

Spirituality is entirely different. It doesn't require a deity nor a brood of con men to enjoy--

My 2¢

Feeling this one is more suitable for you than, one of my favorites too, others we've seen.
The moral at the end is worth sticking for. The music isn't all bad either. DarkMatter2525

This allegory can apply to many things, but I had the pandemic in mind when I wrote it. I dedicate this video to my wife, who helps take care of the sick and dying. Our world's ignorance burdens her with frustrations most of us cannot imagine, borne of the tangible consequences that play out in cold rooms beyond the view of our comfortable mundane routines.

“Like I said, it saved my sister in a time when her life was spiraling down the toilet.”

None of my business, and I’m sorry, but I’ve got to call bullshit.

Religion didn’t save your sister, God didn’t save your sister.
Your sister saved her self.

Just as if her life had spiraled down the toilet, The credit due is hers and hers alone.
