If I can be of any assistance please let me know, my Dr. is the head of hematology there and very influential. Once they accept people as patients they will do almost anything to benefit them, including individualized trials. I've met a number of patients there who's Doctor's elsewhere had given up on them decades ago who are healthy today because of coming to COH. Typically the reunion of BMT patients, donors, and families draws thousands of people, but for the second year they're doing it virtually because of Covid-19. I've met people there who had marrow transplants well over 40 years ago, before anyone heard of stem cells, and they still refer to it as BMT though clearly it's the stem cells, not the marrow, that's being transplanted in practically every case today.
