subzero, I would guesstimate that AMD sold 7.5-8M CPUs and Intel 5x that, or 37.5 to 40M in Q3. It would be a rare Q4 that doesn't show unit growth of at least 5%. XP yields will have to be pretty decent to maintain or increase Athlon XP units while increasing Athlon 64 units by 4x to 10x, as is the plan according to the CC.
"tens of thousands" to "hundreds of thousands" -- I'm assuming 50K to 250K.
