gfp: We enjoy Northern New Mexico. We have spent a lot of time in both Santa Fe and Taos. I have 2 primary concerns and we have ruled it out as a retirement spot. 1) Too much rampant poverty everywhere except Santa Fe. Albuquerque has a beautiful horizon of the Sandia Peaks and a nice climate. But the crime rate is pretty bad. I don't need that shit in retirement. Taxes will become a problem there. and 2) The water issue out west is becoming a real problem. There have been prolonged droughts in the West in centuries past. They can last centuries. Mesa Verde was abandoned 600 years ago due to a prolonged drought. If we are in a drought phase there is no way there will be enough water for the West which has had a population explosion over the last 50 years. I'll take my chances where the water supply is a little more secure.
By the way have you ever watched the Plandemic Vidoes on FreedomPlatform.tv/Plandemic ? I highly recommend watching some of their materials. It's a rabbit hole for sure, but this whole Covid thing smells like 10 day old fish from it's development to the outbreak to the "vaccines" to the government going full Tyranny.
