A lot of analysts from the big investment banks are starting to talk about a 10% correction. Perhaps the 'powers that be' want to let some air out of the market to prevent a worse drop when the Fed's tapering begins.

Are you also considering New Mexico as a possible retirement spot? I've been in southern NM to see the famous Carlsbad caverns, but northern NM is supposed to be nice - Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, etc.

In an 'ideal' scenario I'd probably pick the Rockies for the summer (Colorado, Wyoming) and further south (NM, Ariz) for the winter. Maybe if gold goes to $5000 :o)
