I guess the disconnect here is that the company is indeed promoting their brand via social media, but for some reason they also have to promote the stock consistently? I think not. The stock will eventually get exposure once the brand continues to be successful. So I agree with you that paid stock promotion is pump promotion.
Well, maybe subtle things like "S&L is a subsidiary of Amfil Technlogies, Inc. (OTC: FUNN)" might work as a small print at the bottom of a menu, but their main goal is to promote the S&L brand and not the stock symbol, IMO.
