Peter Lynch and Jim Rogers were famous for their ability to invest on fundamental analysis. Jim and Soros made fantastic gains when they were a team. But for every fundamentalist there ar Technical guys who did just as well. So to each his own. It was Stan Druckemiller who showed George Soros the chart of the British pound and after looking at it, Soros encouraged Druckenmiller to increase the size of his bet and the rest is history.
So no, I'm not picking sides just whatever works even algorithm trading or arbitrage of different markets. TA works best with commodities because supply and demands are very obvious on charts.
