Ruby and raja, many of us are up there in age and don't want to be in a similar place as bennyboy if Anavex hits the jackpot in two years, especially if it could have been hit in six months.
The 48 week trial for the first 225 was completed in Q1 of 2021. Anavex may have been reviewing the results of those first 225 over the last 5-6 months, along with the Rett and PDD from Down Under participants. If the data were strong and persuasive, then TGD needs to approach the TGA to gain approval. This will allow for the possibility of saving/improving the lives of hundred of thousand people who, otherwise will be lost if Anavex waits for two long, grueling and exhaustive years for those sufferers and their caretakers.
