Again, will someone contribute 30 to 50 million towards a phase 3? A partner would assume how much and what royalties would then have to be paid? Compare that to projected revenues which would be unknown 6 to 8 months out... It's not a simple sell to someone and will IPIX be able to afford a P3?
You made an interesting point that reminded me of this article. Thought you might find it interesting to compare the scientific consensus on COVID 8 months ago to what has happened in the interim.
If you've previously read the article then perhaps others will find it interesting.

Absolutely not true. While vaccines remain effective in keeping people out of hospitals (92-97% effective), and keeping hospitalized patients from dying (85-92% effective of those hospitalized), it efficacy is waning. So there will continue to be a need for therapeutics for those unvaccinated or those contracting break through infections. SARS-CoV-2 will be with us for at least another year and likely 2 years.

I do not agree Mr. Kahuna. I believe the new virus is in the world forever. But yes, in a year or two the world will learn better ways to live with its new bad guest. So far the virus is attacking the more vulnerable humans, the old and sick. It is the same with a group of lions attacking a group of wildebeest, they will make the herd run and then find out who is the more slow and weak and that is where they will focus. But the virus is much more adaptable and can change strategy much more quickly than lions or other predator. The favorite host for polio virus is children less than 6 years old.
