"Science doesn't operate on personal emotions or feelings."

Remember that. That is actually a correct statement, and a source for your error.

Evidence of absence that A2-73 does not work in humans is not evidence that it will.

The evidence that a drug has more benefits than side effects in humans is what pivotal trials are about. Hence, Anavex are already now working to complete pivotal trials and planning to run more potentially pivotal trials aimed at approval.

More often that not, and despite there being no papers in opposition disproving a drug, late stage trials fail contradicting findings in all manner of scientific pre-clinical papers and prior positive trial outcomes completely against all expectations of sponsor and investors.

As apposed to interpretation on this MB, statements as above does NOT imply NOR wish for A2-73 to fail in any pivotal trials. It may very well be A2-73 succeeds and I truly hope so, which is why I am invested in $AVXL.

Reading this MB I can only believe from the frustration caused by post perceived as negative that some investors has too much riding on just one stock that MUST pay off and absolutely will come what may.

My objections is not to Anavex and the ability for A2-73 to become an approved drug, it is to proclamations like A2-73 can't possibly fail, approvals without NDA filings or silly statements such as no scientists apparently haven't got together working to disprove S1R as a therapeutic target or more specifically to prove that A2-73 won't work.

As someone else posted, if one was 100% or even 99% certain of A2-73 approval then it would make sense to go all out investing as much as possible in $AVXL.

I certainly wouldn't recommend investing more than one can afford to loose or investing all money at risk in just one pet stock and especially not in biotech given the often near binary outcomes. I would recommend listening and evaluating all opinions and engaging with them on their merit with considered counter arguments and less frustration.

I don't know maybe I am just more committed to science than faith, but it works for me.

May your god go with you - as Dave Allen always ended his episodes.
