TA matters because $AVXL is an equity within a trading market and market systems have patterns. Some people can use these patterns to better time entry/exit and accumulate/distribute toward the goal of a greater total return versus buy and hold. Traders are gonna trade.

TA helps me to find the best bargain targets to buy and the sensible rally targets to take some profit at. Sometimes I miss the bullseye by one step or two but often I get very close.
