Underlying mechanisms involved in the icosapent ethyl reduction of cardiovascular events still cannot be attributed to an anti-atherosclerotic effect

and so what pray tell reduced the events ?

A mechanism we dont understand ? ALl that matters is that events were reduced

I have a medicine that will reduce coronary events by 25% that means 1 in 4 heart attacks may be stopped . It has almost no side effects. Now we are not certain why it works - do you want to use the med ?


I dont beleive the answer will be

no Id prefer to increase my risks of getting a heart attack since we dont really know why it works
