#2084 RE: jta1980 #2083

Not a chance. Stocks never drop in reaction to class action lawsuits. In fat, it is the pother way around - ambulance chasing class action law firms file lawsuits any time there is a price drop.

These guys are just fishing for a lead plaintiff to see if they can pull together a case. There is not broad investor sentiment that there has been any malfeasance on the part of SAVA management. Ex such a distrust of management, there is no reason for a stock to drop when some firm announces a class action suit.

Those suits
--are not always successful
--take several years (generally 3-4 in my experience) to be resolved
AND
--if successful are paid out by insurance, not from the company's cash register.

The class action lawsuits are simply irrelevant to the stock price in the short term.
