I'm going to teach you something which took me 30 years to learn. What you just said is false although most investors believe that is the case.

Stocks go down because the sellers are more aggressive than the buyers, not because there are more. Vice versa with buyers.

What I just said is one of the main factors that go into the analysis by quant funds. It is why people that trade on size on the bid and offer can't make money.

It is also why toxic funds kill stocks. They are the most aggressive sellers because once they get their stock, their main goal is to lock in the profit on the spread.

The price is going down because everyday SHMP has those funny after hours “avg” trades where someone like GHS is most likely dumping their heavily discounted shares.
