Sheesh, I just got back from the corner store. I had 2 things to buy, 2 bottles of water for my wife, special, lots of magnesium or calcium or something, and a bottle of wine (muscadet) to cook up mussels tonight.

Then I decide that I'll get a can of beer for myself (desperados red, no idea if it exists outside of France), the plan is to cut the grass sometime between now, 5pm, and 7pm and sit back with a cold one.

So I get to the cash register, put down the water, the wine on the checkout counter, and the damned can of beer slips out of my hand, hits the ground and starts spinning in circles spaying everything and anyone within 5 feet.

I managed to grab it and contain the spew of beer with about 1/2 a can left, but the damage was done.

All I could do was apologize profusely to everyone covered in beer.
