That article is from 2010, and was in reference to the older version of Clone 3. The newer version will include the antibody "cocktail" containing all the new antibodies targeting the immutable sites they just recently found and patented in the past 6 months. Technically a new formula, so new animal testing needed.

There hasn't been any word from ENZC on if the animal testing at UC-Davis has officially begun or not. I assume it is in the very early stages. A possible reason that they are being very quiet on this issue is that a large pharma company may be very interested in the results and don't want them published straight away. Remember, ENZC has stated that there is strong interest from BP based on certain efficacy milestones. Curing a bunch of monkeys of HIV is surely one of them.

Of course we all know Clone 3 for HIV is going to work. How could it not? The only question is how efficient will it be? 95%? 97%? 98%? Possibly 99%?

I think "over 95%" was the old number, from years ago. Based on the additional immutable sites they've found in the past few months in conjuction with Denver Scientific, I expect the efficacy of the their mAbs to go up. I think we hit 97-98% this time around.

NOTE: That Dr. Stonk guy on Twitter habitually puts out slightly incorrect info. I would triple check any info he puts out.
