Right now it looks like someone is liquidating a position post earnings & after the AM rally into double digits didn't last.
As to those worried about Chinese flooding, first the entire country is not flooded and 2nd there is no proof that any of the maze companies are flooded.
There are always problems, but we can last a long time!
When you are looking at a stock's volume history for a company that has been around more than 20 years, I don't think its a great idea to look at the volume for just a few days (especially around 10Q time.) For whatever the volume is, its still anemically beyond low. The float is around 497 million shares.
So in the interest of accuracy, this free link, will clarify what the volumes are and whether they are up or down and what the liquidity is and why the volumes are so low. Even though they might appear to be going up one week and down the next. Be it for two days, a week, a month, a year or a decade.
You may see the volume up slightly for a day or two or three, but look at the share price falling. Meaning the liquidity is not up. its down for the same volumes trading. We may see what we want to see but the numbers do not lie. Market cap under 100 million + zero new contracts or any not worthy of an 8K = no new interest needed to sustain an increase in volumes = a share price that fluctuates between it's 5 year lows and two year highs. Whether the volume is 40 million or 100 thousand.
Don't believe it? Do month to month stats, its much easier.
But always remember, my opinions are always worth less than the share price of lqmt.
