#280752 RE: SSP #280723

I think, but not am more than 90 pct sure, that I sprayed a little insecticide into the hose before capping it with duct tape and shutting the vacuum cleaner off.

I stress "a little", no reason to destroy the thing if you spray in too much liquid.

I new a guy in Montreal, a banker. You'd think the guy had a pretty good IQ, but I guess outside of banking, his knowledge was limited.

Anyway, the guy was fixing his kitchen sink (I should say trying to), which resulted in a whole bunch of water in the kitchen and living room.

So the guy decides to use his central vacuum cleaner to suck up the water. Obviously it died within minutes.

He grabbed his dust buster to continue, and that died within minutes.

To hell with it all, he was leaving on vacation, he'd figure it all out in 2 weeks.

2 weeks later his whole apartment if full of mold and mildew, he can't even sleep in the thing.

He paid through the nose to clean up all the mess, fix the central vac, and of course fix whatever the hell he was trying to fix in the first place.

I suppose in hindsight, it was good he was not so smart. He gave my company a line of credit of 5 million when most other banks didn't like me at all.
