Curious market, I wouldn’t have thought crude would be down after the tanker drone strike and rising tensions in the middle east. Much more ominous than any time in several years, IMO

Couple that with a weak broader market response to fairly bullish employment metrics and it feels like a lot of uncertainty is keeping speculative plays quiet

GSPE wobbled through the day

When the bid popped up to .014 it was tapped down with a little hit

Not long after, a 230k block was dropped on the bid killing any further move upward

That 230k was either just a sloppy trade or someone who’s accumulating throwing a head fake to keep things cold

Time will tell
