There were lots of things I liked about him. For one thing, he was actually on Vascepa. Also, he addressed a lot of things on quarterly conference calls that made a lot of sense. Like when he said after the Judge Du setback that generics would have trouble with supply and would likely be unable to secure more than a small piece of the pie in the first few years.
That's totally been true, and he can't be blamed for the arrival of a pandemic. Each time he spoke, he would drop little nuggets of information that were pretty important. Like the time he said that Amarin would be able to supply enough product to have $10 billion in revenues. Or the time he said Vascepa has a safety profile equal to aspirin.
