iwasadiver,

Agreed 100%!! Hence the price pounding today because of hiring news at Sawston and as long as they can this week to get to target prices before the huge buys start to roll in. Best wishes.

2. When Sawston is certified that gives 45-50 patients/month who can get DCVax in the UK at Dr. Ashkan’s clinic. Unlike in the US, where a treatment’s manufacturer cannot profit, the UK allows it. At $125K-$150K/patient/month we’ll immediately start seeing revenues of $18,750,000 to $22,500,000 per quarter while we await approvals.

At end of 2019 the revenue was over $600K/q. It dropped to $0 in Q2 2020 with Covid. Since then it has been slowly recovering and is at $240K in Q1. Up from $215K in Q3 2020.

In short, not even close to being capacity limited. And you expect it to jump 80 fold just because they have a new manufacturing facility when they old run was not at capacity. Kind of like the joke about the bigger pickup.

BTW, getting flaskworks certified for commercial production will not happen for years.

You may want 2018 iwasafiver to confer with 2021 iwasadiver.

The FDA is not the big bad boogie man you or others (on both sides) make it out to be. They've been in communication with NWBO for years now and more likely are trying to help them get this across the finish line. — 2018

I hope that you are correct but at the moment it is all conjecture - it should be "if" not "when".
I'll believe it when it happens but at the present rate of "?progress?" I've more than a 50-50 chance of being dead when it does (if ever).

Diver, I posted a few days ago that while I tend to agree with the MHRA first scenario I would not count out a dual approval. We know Cognate Memphis installed 10 small clean rooms (150sqft approx) a size more likely to be found in a compounding pharmacy (mixing personalized medicines) than a pharmaceutical production facility. Unless said facility was to produce a personalized product. Many here tracked the staffing (job postings) at Cognate since the installation of the clean rooms. Knowing Cognate has other customers* besides NWBO** any activity at Cognate suggesting a possible scaling up for production would need to tempered accordingly.

*for ex
**ex might argue NWBO is no longer a Cognate customer
