vinmantoo: Looking at the Delta breakout clusters and reports from other countries like Israel it seems to me that getting the mRNA Vaccine does not offer that much protection. Now for those in a high risk pool, like the elderly and the obese (particularly with Type 2 Diabetes) it probably makes logical sense to get vaccinated. For otherwise healthy adults, and especially children and young adults, avoiding the vaccine make sense. It offers little protection from variants. And vaccinated people can still be Covid carriers. There are too many credible reports of myocarditis, especially in young men. The vaccine is an unnecessary risk to that cohort. The death rate for younger people is barely measurable. Knowing what I know now I would avoid getting the Vaccine. And if I had kids I would certainly avoid getting them vaccinated.
The government, which can't be trusted in regard to anything, especially our health, is pushing the vaccines too hard. A backlash is developing all over the globe. You have politicians all over the world imposing lockdowns and mask requirements and trying to pass laws mandated vaccine compliance, while consistently failing to follow the same rules they ant to impose on everyone else. Do you think the 700 or so people at Obama's birthday bash are going to be social distancing and wearing masks except for select photo ops? I'd bet against it. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightweight thinks imposing vaccine requirements and extending mask mandates is fine for the sheeple, but she can attend parties and Lalapalooza with thousands of other people and do it unmasked. Bottom line...if the government is pushing it....I'm doing the opposite,
