I profoundly disagree. as a lifetime resident of SE Nebraska and an over 30 year resident of Tecumseh, our small towns have their share of issues just like everywhere else. That said they are also full of hardy, honest, hard-working level-headed people that are willing to share the shirt off of their back to a neighbor in need. I think the rest of our country could learn a lot from Nebraska in general.
