if you have the vaccine, what do you care if someone else doesn't take it.

You have heard about variants, right? And the longer the virus is being transmitted the more likely variants will continue and may even mutate into a version that the vaccines can't treat. That's one reason for caring about the unvaccinated potentially effecting us all.
