Dr. Pablo Corral replied to this in a tweet, said placebo is same as Reduce IT, so mineral oil again.

I don't think MO will be a serious issue with these shorter duration trials . Plus cardiolink9 was open label/no placebo.

Part 1 is in high risk population WITHOUT diagnosis and Part 2 is in people who recently have diagnosis to prevent more severe disease

I always wondered if Nissen had been lobbying to join the Amarin team and was told no, turning him back into the jackal that we always thought he was. He did have some positive things to say about Reduce it for a short period of time and then all of a sudden.
