Media and financially ignorant people obsessed with hoarding material things (like land that is currently worth its weight in gold if they sell now as opposed to just hoarding the land that will be unmarketable if surrounded by a mine) as opposed to generating wealth are most likely responsible for what is fake news or a simple technical error.
