Yeah.. not much out there other than their website. No reference to either guy on linkedin. Not even under their former titles/roles/companies which is odd since they were in C-level roles at Societe Generale Group and Amazon.
Paul Scholes's bio claims he was the Chief Financial Officer of Societe General until 2019. However, there is no mention of him anywhere online that i can find, and no mention on their website. Societe General's 2017 annual report has Philippe Heim as the CFO up to at least 2018 (and his Linkedin Profile has it to May to be exact). So unless Paul joined Societe as the CFO and left in under a year, it is really surprising he does not show up anywhere. He also does not have a LinkedIn Profile, which you would expect from the CFO of a ~20b market cap company.
The CFO, Jacques Beaumont, has in his bio that at one point he was the Chief Strategy of Amazon. I also can not find any Amazon documents that can confirm this, and no Linkedin Profile for him matches the description/picture. No other information about him online in my search. If he truly held the Amazon position, I would imagine he would have a far greater online presence.
As far as the site itself goes, there seems to be a ton of typos, grammatical errors, etc, but I can't harp too hard on those because it sure looks better than the Phi Group Website. However, I find it interesting that the two partners they list are a food services company and a Vietnamese Investment Co... don't really see the connection yet.
To be honest, this website/company as a whole just seems really suspicious to me, primarily considering the unverifiable credentials the two cofounders boast, but also because of the fact that the website was just created on https://valleyex.net/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >June 30th, and some of the other things I mentioned.
I don't mean to imply PHIL is involved in this somehow in any negative way. And I hope someone else has some information that could prove to me that this company/partnerships with Sodexo are in fact legit. But think people should be aware of this before we start jumping to conclusions about how they are working together, because we really have no idea yet.
