funny, but Intel was the presumed "LSS" and IBM in the past "our friends at" was how they were referred to, and now these things happen!

My thought are the same oddone33320. I would always prefer to have twice the opportunity, rather than putting all of the eggs in one basket. Everybody in this potential photonic industry have crossed paths at some point. It doesn't mean they are bro's for life.
Keep in Mind they are supposedly only in talks. Even to assume that would ever happen and that the SEC would approve it, it could still take 6 months to a year to be approved. Companies still go about their own business because they don't know if it will be approved or not
