Boiling,

Yes - the whole situation does look pretty stupid. That is why the stock price is so low!

Need to research and find your answers, until the company can provide steady income/growth I wouldn’t expect any news…this is reality!

I don't agree with the sour attitude, but I do think it's possible the options could be a canard.

Tony Chung (CEO)'s options fully vest in 5 years, netting him an extra half $ mil or so, even if he does nothing but turn the lights on in the morning and off at night. So he can do well by doing nothing. But he can do better by kicking ass and getting the share price to the moon.

Similarly, Li has his fingers in other pots, so it's possible that he may be milking LM to make money elsewhere in the Maze. But even though he can do well by milking LM, he can do better by kicking ass and making money in the Maze AND at LM. More is always better when it comes to cash.

My most abiding concern is that CCP may prefer to keep the best for themselves; that is, they may want Liquidmetal to be their own competitive advantage against the West. If tons of Chinese-market products come out with LM we'll never see a dime and their products will be better, stronger, faster.

Then again, American capital can help build the infrastructure for more and more LM in the future and the infrastructure will be theirs, in their country, controlled by their people. So, just as above, CCP can do well by hoarding LM but do better by making it broadly successful. Yes, by kicking ass and making it huge.

The circle always comes back to the strong incentive for everyone involved to kick ass. That's why I'm in this investment for the long haul, even if I wish I'd split my dollars between Apple, Bitcoin, and Amazon ten years ago.

It's possible we may all get hosed. But my confidence in human greed -- and I mean that in the best possible way, keying in on the overarching human desire for the safety that prosperity provides -- lets me sleep well at night.

Lots of people are involved here, and they all want more than anything else to kick serious ass and get filthy rich. Along with them so will I.
