Salesforce made a major blunder by spending 28 billion for Slack and Microsoft has slowly been strangling them with Teams ever since that ridiculous NYT full page grandiose taunting they directed at MSFT. SalesForce is in trouble and looking for an edge, and if they were smart, instead of arrogant, they would make an offer for VERB ASAP, but I think that ship has sailed. Does MicroSoft see something that SaleForce did not? Or is it that MicroSoft is just a better company that knows how to get out of its own way and get things done instead of play silly games? Maybe Microsoft and Verb just work better with each other. Salesforce has made a joke of itself, so I’d start there if you’re looking to fault anyone for VERB not becoming profitable sooner.
I’m not crying. I’m laughing.
