I remember when the sports talking heads were trying to make sense out of all the noise between Brady & Belli. Seemed to be evidence of an eroding relationship, but nothing concrete. Today TB12 is in Tampa so we know the rumors had merit. I knew the day Tommy put his house up for sale it was over with Belli, and this was the summer before his final season.
Big life decisions like this are more than just about money. Foley bought a multi-million dollar home not because he is positive of what else might happen in the future, but because today he believes he will be in Nashville for several years, probably longer.
So your statement is obviously true, but I believe a lot of thought and planning went into that purchase - and I don't think he expects to pivot anytime soon
