In my view that would represent an astonishing failure on the part of the physicians ministering to L.N. patients. If they're that lazy in getting the best treatment for their patients, one would hope that patient activists would step in and demand use of the current B.I.C. medication.
We do live in the information age.. patients and their families would very likely have information on Vocl.
Another angle, one that I hate to raise (but the company did) is that this disease is especially prevalent in the black community. Given the current mania for "equity", denying the best treatment to black and hispanic patients would be considered a (possibly) racist attitude (yeah, we do live in strange times). The company's outreach in that direction is both the right thing to do, and may play a significant role in going beyond the 10% penetration.
