I am focused on how the 13 will deal with "booking" the offer they made as a liability and expense in their financials.
It is a capital intensive industry with lots of debt and debt covenants.

If there is a trial and a Jury finds in favor of the NPE Chanbond there will be an appeal with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

The SCOTUS has shown a propensity to rule against patent trolls as they should.
