Right. They will have written comments for only the substantive comments. They will not respond to comments that say “this isn’t safe” yada yada yada. We will be able to read all of their responses so that’s why DEM allows this amount of time so their lawyers have plenty of time to ensure all responses are perfect and within our environmental laws. Also to let hot topics cool down. I believe any any comments with substance will be addressed and play a part in DEM’s stipulations. The comment that raised eyebrows for me was the one that mentioned the buffer wall separating the businesses within the building. I don’t know what that wall actually looks like and I’d imagine it to be block wall but regardless if DEM wants it to appease that comment than reinforcing it shouldn’t be a problem.
