Is it against the law for the ceo to dump his shares, before events he knows will cause his stock to tank?

" If the CEO manipulated the share price, then that is called securities fraud (which is against the law, and he could go to jail for it)."

What world is that report coming from??? All CEO'S are responsible to see their company thrives and survives in rough times. That statement while possibly partly true is a stretch.

Just likely saying..... The way I look at that ........ it all depends on how you look at it. Plenty of wiggle room there.... just as there is with part truth statements as many are guilty of.

It is perfectly legal to be incompetent, insecure, and incapable. It is also perfectly legal to give that same type of person your retirement money and let them hang onto it for a decade and tell you fairy tales about multi-billion dollar markets, plans, possibilities and pipe-dreams. It is also perfectly legal to wait knowing, with 20/20 hindsight, that you could have put your money in something else and made a lot more money. We all made our bed and have to sleep in it. Bed bugs, wrinkled sheets, monsters under the bed, and all.
