You seem to be implying that Apple must come to Li/LQMT/Eontec/Yihoa for BMG parts because of their expertise and the 106c material. I’m simply clarifying that the 106C material isn’t patented (and therefore available to whoever knows or reverse engineers the formula) and that Apple has over 10 years of experience/expertise in BMGs. (Not to mention a lot more researchers.)

If Apple designs a part that can only be satisfied by using BMG, Li won’t be able to charge a premium because Apple can take its expertise and CIP to another manufacturer and get the part through them.
