Exactly what I was thinking if these are part of the CIP cookie jar then how does LQMT ever make any money from them? Unless of course they can be manufactured using 106C for this very specific CE application for someone other than Apple. Do you understand the difference between a trademark and a license to use a material? The two are mutually exclusive. LQMT only advertises 106C, this is NOT part of CIP. If Apple uses 106C (or a variant), they must pay to use the material. But they still own the trademark and do not have to pay for this.
